Current Scottish Government Guidelines - Last updated 22nd September 2020
The first minister of Scotland has announced some more restrictions due to the increase in Covid cases in the past few weeks.
A curfew within the hospitality sector of 10pm in pubs and restaurants.
Household gatherings indoors are not permitted, this will be reviewed every three weeks. These measures have helped slow the spread of Covid cases throughout a small number of local authorities and have now been rolled out throughout Scotland.
Out and about, for instance in a restaurant if you are eating out on your Campervan holiday - the rule of six applies, six people from a maximum of two households are permitted to sit together.
If you are meeting up with others outside then the rule of six from two households is also ok. The under 12's are exempt from the total number.
Holidays in Scotland are still allowed, with the emphasis on foreign travel being discouraged. If you are thinking of hiring one of our vans, we do have a few spaces - please check out availability here.
Travelling by car - or campervan, with others from outside your household is not advised. A trip with people from your own home is still considered fine, we would just ask you to be extra vigilant to follow the advice when you are away. These measures are;
Use good judgement avoiding crowded areas.
Use face coverings in shops, public transport and moving around in restuarants.
Wash your hands, use antibacterial gel and clean hard surfaces regularly.
If you have symptoms of Covid 19 please return home as soon as possible, contact NHS 24, self isolate and book a test.
Follow physical distancing guidelines.
We want to maintain responsible camper van hire and protect smaller communities with fragile infrastructures.
We also want you to have the best time possible when you take your trip.
